Sarah Kemp shot a blistering 63 that included nine birdies in the second round of the LPGA Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic on Friday.
After a great junior and amateur career in her native Australia, Sarah is in her second season on the LPGA Tour. She struggled a bit in her rookie year, making the transition from ALPG and LET tournaments to LPGA competition. But she's stepping up in 2009.
So far this year, Sarah has made all but one cut, and she's coming off a 15th-place finish at the Wegmans LPGA, the second-best finish of her young LPGA career.
